Undergraduate Program in International Marketing

Official Degree Title: Undergraduate Program in International Marketing in a Digital Economy.*
Credits: 180 ECTS credits.
Double International Degree: offers students the possibility to take the last year in an EEES European university(United Kingdom, Sweden, France and Germany) and hence obtaining a double/dual degree.
Duration: 3 years (6 semesters).
Internships: Minimun 8 credits and possibility of internships at foreign universities.
Academic Calendar: the academic year runs from September to June.
Timetable: Monday to Friday mornings (first and second year). Monday to Friday afternoons (third year).
Languages: English is compulsory.Possibility to learn French and German.

The Undergraduate Program in International Marketing in a Digital Economy aims to educate professionals to research, plan, carry out, and control marketing and communication strategies of companies of any sector.

New technologies have promoted an ongoing global transformation of companies for them to adapt to a new digital environment. The Undergraduate Program in International Marketing in a Digital Economy provides a solid base of marketing and communication concepts and techniques in order to educate a new generation of professionals who are able to take on the current challenges with adaptation and versatility skills.

The program develops a number of cross-curricular skills such as critical analysis, creativity, problem-solving or teamwork. These skills are essential to take on the challenge faced by companies in the globalized economy of the 21st century. The syllabus consists of 180 ECTS distributed in three years. Students have the possibility to study the third year of the program in one of the european universities that IQS has exchange agreements with and obtain a double/dual degree.

Skills:

  • Understanding the concepts of  business and its role in the market economy, as well as its organizational behaviour.
  • Researching and analyzing market and customer behaviour to search for business opportunities.
  • Being able to design and establish marketing and communication strategies which set up or consolidate the presence of the company abroad.
  • Conceiving new products and services based on the characteristics of the company and the needs of the market.
  • Creating and developing commercial brands.
  • Efficiently communicating the defining and differential characteristics of a product in regards to the competitors’.
  • Designing marketing and digital marketing campaigns including social media strategies as well as online positioning and visibility.
  • Creating functional websites.
  • Managing virtual communities.
  • Analyzing customer activity data in the digital environment in order to improve the company’s marketing and communication plan.
  • Understanding online positioning strategies in order to choose the most efficient digital strategies (SEM, SEO) for the company.
  • Transversal skills including analysis, synthesis and critical thinking, leadership and teamwork, information and communication technologies, creativity and innovation, oral and written communication, and problem solving.

Route 0 – Students who have passed the university entrance exam (PAU) or equivalent.

–       Upper secondary school (Bachillerato) and PAU grades at the earliest opportunity. Copy of PAU results sheet.

–       Nationals of an EU country, or living in Spain, who have studied in a non-European academic system and do not have a reciprocity agreement with Spain, please contact IQS’s General Secretary Department at . You will be required a copy of your university access recognition application.

 

Route 1 – Students from educational systems of State members of the European Union, or other States that have signed international agreements applicable in this regard (including International Baccalaureate).

–       Spanish University access credential issued by UNED (original document or certified copy).
Route 2 – Graduate students and equivalent

–       Undergraduate diploma and academic records, needed in case of acknowledgement of credits.
Route 4 – Students holding Higher Vocational Training qualifications, FP2 and MP3

–       Academic certificate including average grade.

 

Route 7 – Students who have passed the PAU or equivalent and a partially-completed undergraduate degree

–       Copy of PAU results sheet and copy of the academic transcript transfer application.

 

Route 8 – Students with CFGS, FP2 or equivalent and a partially-completed undergraduate degree

–       Academic certificate including average grade and copy of the academic transcript transfer application.

 

Routes 9, 10, 11 – Students aged 25 or over, 40 or over, 45 or over

–       Corresponding academic certificate.
